Atheists fail to cough up for London bus ad

So Dawkins will ‘feature’ the group on his website, but won’t pony up the cash to help them place their ad – thanks for the help, nimrod

  1. I enjoy the fact that you used the word “nimrod” in a sentence! I’m thinking that these atheists must be too busy out there “getting on with their lives” to be bothered with anything else.

  2. Either that or they’re posting nimrod-ish comments on people’s blogs.

  3. They’re all too self-involved to be part of a larger cause.

Which works out well for us!

  4. Also, I too am a fan of “nimrod”. It’s a great word.

  5. If God doesn’t exist, why spend the money to say that? If other people want to “waste their time” in church — have at it, just don’t preach to me. Such a common atheist sentiment. Atheism/lazy agnosticism and apathy frequently go together, so no wonder not many people bothered to put pen to check.

    Exactly!

I once read about a sign in front of a church that read:

    Neitzsche: “God is dead”
    God “Nietzsche is dead”

Still makes me chuckle after all these years 🙂

  7. Does this mean that, one day, atheism may go out of existence — due to lack of interest?? 😉

Haha, yes! And worse than just secular death, God might mean that Nietzsche doesn’t have eternal life, either….
